Partnerships

Much more has become known about the power of high quality curriculum, effective assessment practices, and ongoing program evaluation to support better outcomes for young children. (NAEYC & NAECS/SDE, 2003, p. 5). Collaboration and partnerships between The Preschool teachers, administration and families or other members of the community serve as the structure and support for a curriculum framework. The Preschool has formed partnerships with sub-specialists in the areas of vision, communication, development and the occupations. Both screenings as well as individual and group sessions (in various therapies) are offered at The Preschool.
