The Preschool believes in the enormous influence of our teachers, and the dedicated professionals who line our halls share an understanding that developmental, spiritual, and academic excellence are inseparable. By creating nurturing environments in which every student can flourish, our teachers are able to establish the healthy foundational relationships that are essential for meaningful influence. Empowered with thoughtful collaboration and equipped with quality resources, The Preschool teachers continually inspire children and families to feel passionate about growth and development through play.
The Preschool has enjoyed the leadership of only five directors in our history, which has contributed to our stability and program success. Our staff includes 52 teachers and administrators, many of whom have been with us for more than 20 years and half of whom have been here for more than 11 years. Our teachers are college educated, many with master’s degrees and teaching certificates. Our school nurses both hold RN licenses with specialties in pediatric nursing and both are masters prepared nurses. We are one of the only Preschools with a nurse on staff every day of the week.

Located on PRUMC’s beautiful Buckhead campus, The Preschool is an independent, faith based school, for children 12 months through 6 years-old. We are committed to nurturing the whole child in preparation for the most distinguished public and private primary schools in Atlanta.
