The Preschool hallways are ringing with the laughter of children and the excitement of our 63rd year. Our 354 students and 58 faculty members are ready to learn and play together again. This year we will continue focusing on the development of critical and creative thinking routines, Orton-Gillingham phonics and math, independence, music, art, as well as spiritual, physical, and social development through play. In addition, the Pre-K and 5/6 classes will explore the world through a new STEM curriculum. A teacher dedicated to leading science, technology, engineering and math will work with these students on a weekly basis. Teachers of the younger classes will also collaborate with the STEM teacher to enhance the activities available in their classrooms.
